Find Your Voice

The story behind this project is about how the world is dying because of pollution in the world and how people on earth don't care about what they are doing and how it will effect everyone else and the amount of time that we have left on earth. It is also that pollution and smoking is unhealthy and it needs to stop if we have any hope of a future. I also wanted to get this point across without using words, I wanted to do it from using the emotion on the earth's face. I decided to make the earth not a perfect circle so it looked like it was deflating in a way like it's dying

for this project I used bristol board. I chose this because I wanted to do colored pencil and water colored pencil so i though bristol board would look the most smooth. I also used a pen to outline my project and the lines so it would seep through when I used the water color. I also used some tape to make sure when I was coloring that it didn't go on the border. to make the background of the black gray I put water on the paper by itself then dipped a paint brush into black then put it on the water which made the background look smokey.

If i were to go back and redo this project I would take away the smoke and make the smoke the background because right now it doesn't look very good and creates a stoppage point in the flow of the project so I think changing that would make it better so i would like to change that.
