For these drawings, the assignment was to use pure contour lines to draw an object. (shoe, hand) I used reference by looking at my object in real life. It was helpful to look at them from a real life perspective, rather than on a picture because I was able to pick up the shoe, or move my hand to get a better look at details in the object. It took some time to notice all of the details in each object because there was so much that I couldn't see.
I made these drawings by using a 2H pencil to start, making sure the lines were very light and easy to erase. Next, I went over it with a 6B pencil to make sure it was dark and the lines were pure.
