Multiple Pinch Pot Project

The assignment for this project was to make at least 5 pinch pots and join them together to make one project. I made very simple pots to make a storage area that could be used on my desk.

I made this project by making 5 different- sized small pinch pots and scratched them together. I had to make sure they were thick enough but were different sizes to make it look different from each other. I waited for this to be fired, then glazed it, fired it again, then clear glazed it to complete it.

The most difficult part of this project was making sure the clay was smoothed. Because it was hard to maneuver around each pot, I had trouble cleaning it up. I enjoyed making this project because it was simple, and can be used other than for art.
