Artist Statement:

For this final photo I was tasked with photographing "future". So for the photo, I looked past all of this coronavirus stuff and focused on something that will be happening in my future. For this I chose to do small boat sailing. Because although I have already gone sailing this year, I haven't sailed small boats yet. So I went and took a photo of all the stored boats that haven't been launched yet. When I was taking the photo I climbed up onto the rack that they all are kept on and took the photo. I made many slight adjustments to the camera but I ended up using this photo, out of all of them I just felt like this was the best one. I then put it into photoshop.

In photoshop I did a few things. First I cropped the photo to make it a better size and get some unnecessary parts out of it. Then I made it black and white. After that I was done and I uploaded it. Overall I like this photo, I think that making it black and white helped it a lot.
