Artist Statement:

For this photo, I wanted to use the work light that I have. The reason for this is because that light has a magnifying glass built into it. So now I just had to pick a subject. For the photo, I ended up grabbing a bunch of screws that I had laying around and putting those under the work light. I had to move the camera around a fair bit in order to get the screws in focus and make sure they were still magnified. After I did this I put the image into photoshop for a few touch-ups.

After I put it into photoshop I just did a few things. I first cropped it just to get rid of the rest of the desk. After that, I used the burn tool because the light was watching out some on the image. So I darkened that up and I thought it was good. I like this image because this is my second time using this light for my photos. Last time I could not get it to magnify something, so I am happy I could do it this time.
