For this shot, I wanted a shot of the snow from a low down view with the snow slowly losing focus as it gets farther from the camera. However, by the time that I was going to shoot the picture, it was raining heavily and it was very windy. So what I did instead was grab some vegetables from the fridge and used those. I was playing around with all kinds of different angles but none were very interesting. I ended up taking a fairly basic picture but I did more work in post-production.

When I put it into photoshop I first took out the background and replaced it with a solid black picture. Then I used the overlay tools to give it a dark strange feel. I then just used the burn and dodge tools to make it a little more real looking and to blend the background in better with the snow peas. Overall I like how it came out. I like that the image is of an everyday object but it looks interesting because of editing I did later.
