Artist Statement:

Because my concentration is about technology, I knew I wanted to do a still life of a bunch of technology. As I was assembling the shot I noticed how almost all technology is black or white. This made me think about how a lot of websites are now offering a dark mode, switching the white elements with black. So for this shot, I wanted to show this. I wanted to show how most technology is back or white but it is becoming darker rather than white. So when I was taking the shot I chose to use all back technology apart from a few white parts. With this photo, I ended up wanting to just show the contrast between the black and the white objects.

I did end up putting the photo into photoshop, however, I did not do too much. All I did was little spot healing to hide some weird lighting in the photo. Overall I like the photo because of the contrast between the black and the white.
