For this shot, I knew that I wanted to use some designs or sketches that I did for my engineering class. The reason that I wanted to do this was because I knew I had a lot of dotted lines and the whole design was on graph paper (an array of lines). I also knew that I would take the shot with a low down point of view. This was so the focus would be on one of the lines and not the whole drawing.
While I was taking this I was amazed at how smoothly it went. I played around with different artificial lighting from different angles and different intensities. But in the end, I settled just using natural light. After I took the photo I put it in photoshop and made a few simple edits. First, I cropped it so there was not as much of the background in it. Then all I did was put a black and white filter on it and I was done. Overall I like how it came out. I especially liked how lines are pointing to three parts of the pen instead of one pointing to one part.
