Artist statement
The project assigned to me was to take photos that fit different aspects of photography. The hardest part of this assignment was to find good pictures that fit the criteria set for the project. My favorite images are the ones of the woods, especially the ones with the leaves on the wood. I took the photos with my phone and edited them on my laptop with the photos app. I went for a walk in the woods to find good pictures and ended up using mostly those. I had to do the other ones inside to make them fit the aspects of photography. When I was out in the woods I looked for things that I thought would look cool. Most of the photos I took were just naturally occurring by I did set up the ones inside and the one with the leaves. All the editing I did was mostly just to enhance the color of the photos and to make them clearer. I didn't feel as though the photos required much editing to reach the goals I had for this project. My favorite images from this project were all of the ones taken outside. They were very fun to take and I think they look really good. My number one goal for the future is to learn how to use apps like photoshop and lightroom to make my pictures look even better. I feel as though I could create much cooler images that way.
