The project assigned to me was to make an album cover for a band or singer of my choice using photoshop. I found all the images I used under the creative commons license page on google. I used the AC/DC logo above the name of the album, with the album’s cannon logo underneath it. The background image is that of Angus Young, the band’s guitarist. I didn't need to be very selective with the images I used because there are so many of these images out there I could basically pick any random one and it would look cool. The only thing I ended up changing was I edited the image of Angus so that the color popped a little more and I added a very slight vignette. Being a big fan of how darker photos look, this project was a lot of fun for me. I like how the black and blue light in the crowd looks in relation to the rest of the image. I enjoyed this project a lot because it allowed me to basically use my own creativity to make an image that I was proud of. I am very interested in continuing to do projects like this on my own and will likely do more AC/DC album covers.
