Liner Perspective

In this art project our objective was to create a perspective drawing that accurately depicts one of the hallways in our school. The general idea was to connect all lines that weren’t horizontal or straight up it was to be connected to the vanishing point. This style connects to my life because it accurately depicts how my eyes perceive depth. These drawings are in insight into human vision. You could take one and show it to in alien and they would be able to see what a human sees. This work was made using rulers, pencils, sharpies, markers and a section of spoty watercolor paint. First I divided the paper in half with a straight line and in the middle of the paper, put a small dot to use as a vanishing point. Then, using a picture as a reference tool, I connected the lines to the vanishing point, adding in the other lines as necessary. My project evolved from a dot and a line, to an accurate depiction of the math hallway, to its final form as a nuthouse of colors. I think I will take all this knowledge and use it in future drawings to create a more real image of my surroundings.
