Zoomed Shoe

The Zoomed shoe drawings make me think of a camera on the bottom of a plane that is coming in for a landing. The ground slowly approaches, getting faster every second and then the plane touches down in the last panel. This project is almost like my journey through school. At first it's a very wide view but as time goes on it begins to zoom and focus on certain things. Right now I’m on the second panel showing the middle stage of school. This work was made using strictly pencil and paper. First I used a view finder to pick a specific section of the original shoe drawing and then blow it up onto a bigger piece of paper. Then, making sure it stayed proportional, I drew it two more times, zooming it in more each time. It evolved more and more over the course of the drawings to become even more zoomed than I thought. Originally it wasn't supposed to zoom that much because I thought it would look better a little less zoomed but it turned out fine. I think my next steps could be to try this with other drawings and just see where I could go with it.
