Zentangle

This work shows how different shapes put closer and closer together can create shading. To me at least, its really cool that this is basicly shading on a smaller level. This project relates to my life because it's almost like day fading into night. I'm a night owl so thats how it relates to my life. My favorite time of day is when day fades to night. This work was made firstly, using pencil, then covered over with sharpie. Firstly I outlined the rectangle box with sharpie, then I used pencil to make the first lines, then colored it over with sharpie. My project didn't really evolve that much. It started how it stayed. It was a rectangle with pencil lines and then I just covered it over with sharpie. This project really taught me a lot about shading so I will use the leasons learn to better my artistic ability.
