Surrealism

To make the collage, I first tried to find a magazine to use pictures from. Since the only one I could find was a pet magazine, I made a pet collage. I just cut out animals from the magazine and glued them on the collage with a glue stick. To make the surrealism painting, I used my collage as a reference. I didn't copy the exact collage because it's just a bunch of pets, so instead I tried to make a room with pets in it. I used graphite drawing pencils to sketch the room out and then acrylic paint to color it in. I like the result, but I think I should have added more color because it's very white/blank.
