In total, I made a bowl, a mug, and a flower sculpture. To make the mug and the bowl, I used the pinch technique. The pinch technique is where you get a piece of clay and stick your thumb in it, after that you turn the clay while pinching the clay to make a bowl shape. To make the flower sculpture I didn't really use a technique; I just made some pieces, smoothed them out, and did the 'scratch, scratch, water, attach' method. After my pieces were fired I glazed them, I used 'mint' for the mug, I used 'cherry blossom' for the bowl, and I'm not sure the exact ones I used for the flower sculpture. When I was brainstorming what to do, I thought of doing a frog mug because I like frogs and the color green, I thought of doing a pink bowl because pink is another one of my favorite colors, and I thought of doing a flower sculpture because I really like flowers and thought it would make a nice ceramic piece. I think that the final result of my flower sculpture is pretty good, I like the colors I chose and think it came out smooth. I like the frog mug and the pink bowl, but I think they look a little lumpy and the mug's eyes look a bit strange. I think if I made these again, I would spend way more time smoothing them out.
