For this project, we had to create a teapot. But not just any teapot, an eccentric teapot. So my first idea was to have it be a cat sitting upright, with the paws as the handles, the tail as the spout, and the head as the lid. But I was having some troubles getting this to work, so I kind of spontaneously decided to make the teapot into a penguin. I made the lid a little top hat for him, there isn't really a reason that I did this... I just thought it would look cute. Then, the spout was the beak & the handles were the wings! I also added feet, but one broke off so I'll have to glue it back on sometime. For the color, I didn't want it to look like a normal penguin, so I did a bright teal/green kind of color. I haven't tried it out to see if it's usable yet because I haven't brought it home, but I will test it out as soon as I can! For this assignment, I used the pinch technique as well as some coils.
