Art History

Art History Inspired Project

To make this piece of artwork I was inspired by the De Stijl art movement and Leonardo Da Vinci. First, I looked at Da Vinci's artwork and wanted to use the Mona Lisa as inspiration, then I looked at the themes of the De Stijl art movement and saw that nature was one of them. So, after looking at that, next I started to draw myself using graphite drawing pencils, an eraser, brush markers, and colored pencils. Once I finished that I started drawing the background, I drew 5 hills, 4 trees, and a blue sky. I used brush markers to draw the background. Something I would change about this is the background, and I would use colored pencils because it would look better and my markers almost ran out of ink.
