Circle Project

So the first picture (on the left) has all my ideas for this project. I thought about a patterned one, planet one, and one of an eyeball. My reasoning for these is on the bottom of the picture. I decided to go with the planet one & have sort of a space theme. I used mostly markers to create this. The materials I used were a 2B pencil, some drawing paper, brush tipped alcohol markers, and some regular markers (crayola brand). To start the drawing I made the circle and started sketching. For the planet's design I wanted to make it with different shades of green so I made a pattern and started coloring it in. After I made the planet, I wanted to have a split background. I decided to have it be space on the top (the night sky with stars) & on the bottom I wanted bright colors to be coming out of the planet. I'm not really sure why I put the bright colors on the bottom but I like the result of this art piece.
