Extended Blind Contour

For this project I used oil pastels, watercolor, and watercolor paper. We all started our projects by drawing 4 faces while not looking at our papers (in black oil pastel). Then we were allowed to do anything we wanted with the result. I decided that I wanted something colorful & more abstract (rather than a picture of a person or an animal, etc.) The first thing I did was color in all of the black oil pastel with oil pastels in the colors of the rainbow. Then, I used water color to make a pink & white background. Lastly, I used more watercolor to create dots and splashes of color all over the paper.
