Sustained Investigation #3

To recap, my theme for this project is nature and my inquiry question is "how can I use nature to express my own creativity?" This is my third SI & this time I wanted to focus on different leaves. Above, there are some different kinds of leaves that I made. I tried to play with different sizes, colors, and shapes. I ended up making all my sketches into final products, and so I colored them all. For each leaf, I used bright colors instead of natural ones. I thought this would make them pop more & just be more unique. I used highlighter markers to color them in & a regular pencil to make the sketches. I also made it in my sketchbook again. I think I just like drawing a lot, and that's why I've chose to do drawings for all pieces in this project & most of my art in general. My personal favorite drawing in this SI was #3!
