Color Design

To make the value strips, I first put painters tape around the edges of the paper, then I chose what colors I wanted to do. After I did that, I made light and dark shades of each color and painted the value strips. Once I was done painting I took the painters tape off and then I was done. (I also used acrylic paint for both of these). To make the color design (84 pure colors) I first chose what I wanted the painting to be focused out, once I chose a giraffe, I started making the pattern to paint on. Once I made the pattern I mixed colors until I had around 84. Then I started painting. For the giraffe, I used brush markers.
