Man cave interior perspective

In my interior perspective drawing, I had an idea from the start and that was to add more complex idea to it. When I saw that other drawings, everything was square and unnatural, so i wanted mine to look more realistic. I used the technique to get all of my lines right, but I still added my own touch to everything. This piece relates to my life because I love the idea of man caves, what can I say. If you could see my room in totality, you will see that it is very man cave like. They are just so cool and I would like to have a 'real' man cave in my house when that time comes around.
To create this I just used a 2H pencil. I didn't have any of the good drawing paper so I used watercolor paper instead but it worked out just fine. In addition to my pencil, I used a ruler, and at some points a square.
While creating this piece I was still getting used to the technique of the one and two points. For this, I used one point and the point eventually turned into a T.V. While creating the objects inside of the drawing, I started with the basic shapes of the object, and furnished it with rounded lines, at least for the couch and chairs. When I started this project, I wasn't completely sure on what to make the room into. After some thought, and some inspiration from google images, I found the drawing with the sailboats out of the window. I wanted a similar window design, so I started with a matching box. The first thing I focused on was the table and chairs, it took a couple of tries to get the angle of the table and how long it was. Once completing the table I added a chess board on top and some glasses of water and then moved onto the chairs. They were pretty easy, and I made a basic wooden back with a woven seat to each. Next I started the carpet, Again it was pretty simple, and I used a checkered design and added fringe to the sides. Next I did the couch, it took two tries to get the size right, but eventually I got it. To add to the couch I added a pin-seat look to the cushions. Next I added the beams and recessed lights. They were pretty easy to draw and space. After this I added the shelf and the window as well. The window was cool since I added and island in the distance with some birds in the sunset as well. The shelf, again, was pretty easy. And finally, for what I originally planned to be a window, I made into a T.V. with football playing, naturally. If I was to continue this drawing I'd go over it with a B pencil, and fix the lights.

In my hallway summative for art, I used the technique for drawing perspective and angles that we have been using for the other drawings. I wanted to include as much detail as possible, while keeping the drawing uncluttered. I didn't include the concrete blocks in the walls for example since they would not add much to the drawing as a whole. This project relates to my life surrounding the galaxy I included in the back as part of the imaginative aspect. I love space, and I am incredibly fascinated with how it works, which is what inspired me to add it.
To create this project the only materials I used was a 2H pencil and a 4B pencil. And obviously a ruler to create 90% of the lines.
To create this piece, again, I used the technique that we had been practicing. I drew the pictures on the wall by hand, and shaded slightly in areas for shadow. My first step in making this piece was to choose the origin point of the hallway. Around this, I drew the doorway, and started my lines down for the hallway. It took a couple of tries to get the lines right, and I drew them a little bit too hard and the remanence of them are visible. After this, I drew in the wall to the left of the viewing angle. Next I started the basic details of the drawing, the hallway entrance near the end of the hallway, the doors on the left, and started the artwork frames and water fountains. After this I drew the strips on the floor, and the ceiling tiles. Next I added some more details, the pipe, the fire alarm and lights, and finished the water fountain. After this, I did the artwork, and finished the ceiling tiles, and finally shaded it all. When drawing, I forgot about the imaginative aspect of the piece, and after the shading, I added the galaxy, which looks pretty good in my opinion. If I was to continue this piece, I would probably clean up the entire drawing, including smudges, and the accidentally added line to the ceiling tiles.
