Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Bee-. At last it was Friday. After today I finally won’t have to deal with school and work for the next two days but for now I still need to get up and go get some stuff done. Alright let’s see first up is Cinema arts, but we’re still doing that project and I don’t know a single thing in English. Hopefully they won’t find out about me not helping. I can’t believe it, they found out and I got expelled. It’s not my fault I can’t speak English for the project! Now I have no hope of becoming a director. My best bet would be to find a job at some random television station but I would have to be way lower in the ranks than I would be if I hadn't been expelled. Guess I will hitch a ride and get back to my apartment. “Hey! Hey! Excuse me, can I get a ride?” I said.
“Yeah sure,” said the driver. Why is this car so cramped? Well, it’s still my way home so I guess I’ll have to deal with it. “Anyway, what are you up to today?” said the driver. “Well uh, I just got expelled from a cinema arts university and now I don’t have a chance to work in a studio.”. “Well I’m on my way to my job at a television station. You wanna see if you can apply?” “Wait, what? Are you kidding? Of course I do!” “Well then, let’s get going.” On the ride there I was so excited to get a second chance. The wind was blowing through my hair cooling me down after the sun was beating down on me. When we arrived I could see the station was massive; it was the size of six of his apartments combined! “Come on kid, let's go inside” said the driver. “Oh and by the way my name is Jefferson Reyes. Call me Jeffrey.” “Oh uh, I’m Alfonso Cauron. Call me Alfonso” When we entered the station It was even bigger than it was on the outside. I could hear people running around doing shoots, filming live news, and countless more things. Together we walked to Jeffrey’s boss’s office where he was just finishing up a phone call.
“Why, hello what can I do for you?” said the boss. “Well I found this guy on the street saying he wanted a job in cinema arts but got expelled from his university. He was wondering if he could get a job here.” asked Jeffrey. “Yeah sure thing. We’ve been needing a technician to control the lights on different sets. Just fill out this form and you can start today.” said Jeffrey’s boss. I can’t believe it. Just like that, Jeffrey’s boss just let me have the job and all I have to do is fill out a form. “Why, thank you! I promise I’ll be a big help.” I snatched up the form from him and began filling it out. I know that with this opportunity he could in a couple years possibly become a director and all I have to do is fill out a paper.
“Alright sir, I finished up the form you gave me.” “Okay I’ll put you to work right away. On set three there are two burnt out lights above the stage. If you could fix it that would be great. Well good luck!” said his new boss. “Thank you, again for this” Alright let’s see where set three is. Oh there it is! Okay I just need to fix these two lights it won't be that bad, I hope. After this I can do a couple more things around here and be on my way back home.
Finally after four hours I’m finished. I’ll ask Jeffrey to give me a ride back to my apartment and I'll be on my way. “Oh there you are. I was looking for you. I was wondering if you could give me a ride to my apartment. I’ll pay you if you want me to.” “Nah you’ll be fine you’re helping everyone including me just because you’re fixing things around here.” said Jeffrey. “Okay thanks Jeffrey.” “Here follow me I’ll take you to my car and we can get out of here and take a break. You need it, you have to do a lot of work to rise through the ranks to become a director.” He’s right I have a lot of work ahead of me if I really want to do what I want to do. I can feel the rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins wanting to go back to the studio, but I know that I needed to rest if I really wanted to get anything done.
