On March 25, 1445 Pedro Berruguete started his career by making a painting of his father on a throne. His father is named Alonso Berruguete, Alonso Berruguete is considered the most important sculptor of the Spanish Renaissance. He purchased a canvas and an easel because he wanted to try his hand at painting. He never painted until he got his canvas and easel so this is his first time painting. He thought the place Ducal palace in Urbino is a good place to start off his career and paint his first painting. Pedro asked his dad “Father, can I paint you on a throne” . His father replied with “ Yes son but don’t break the canvas and easel it cost us a lot. But why?” Pedro complemented with “Because you look good on the throne dad.” Pedro eventually finished painting his father on a throne, his father asked “May I see the painting son?” Pedro shows the painting. The painting that Pedro surprised him as if he was seeing an angel. The amazing portrait that Pedro painted sold for 154 Euros. He eventually named the first painting in his career ¨Berruguete the older¨ because his father is the oldest in his family.
One day Pedro's father died and his painting started to be copied by other artists so Pedro´s lifetime events started to occur as his life started to change and soon enough he started to paint more to make his father proud. So he tried and failed more and kept trying eventually in the years 1471 to 1483 he became more of an expert artist making many paintings the exact numbers are 453. Pedro wouldn't stop painting until 1501 at that time he started to become more sick and ill every time he would try to draw his arm would start to constantly get hurt. Eventually Pedro died at the age of 53 his lungs started to feel numb and weak. At the age of 54 and in 1504 he died in Madrid by something and no one knows it´s classified as ¨unidentified¨.
