It was a very stressful game! The world cup had returned to Mexico in 1986 and I was the star prospect. It inspired me at the greatest peak of my powers. My team and I made it into the finals. We had to face West Germany who lost at the final from Spain in 1982.
So, the game was off, I took the kickoff and I dribbled, and passed. The ball got taken away by the other team, they got through the first defender, second, and third.
After that he had a perfect shot on the goal, it was a breakaway. With him and the goalie. He shot the ball, it curved right in past the hand of our goalie. It was now 0-1. We wanted to do the exact same thing that they had just done to us, so we all talked about it and went off. But, not to our plan we took the ball off but then we got it taken away from their speedy midfielder. He made a huge kick right to his offense, and he took the ball down to the goal and scored again. It was now halftime. We had to pick it and that is exactly what we did. I kicked off and passed it to my buddy. He kicked it past the defenders to score. That was our first goal. The other team got to kick off now. Right when he did pass it to his teammate, and my buddy stole it mid-pass kicked it to the offense and scored a goal. It was no 2-2-. But, with six minutes remaining, I went up with the ball being the genius that I am and flicked just the perfect pass right into the path of Jorge Burruchaga. He strode away from the German defence and slid the ball past Harald Schumacher. Their 3-2 win gave my team, La Albiceleste our second world crown.
Background
I was a Buenos Aires, Argentina soccer player. I was born with a talent to play. I also worked hard and trained a lot. I joined a lot of teams when I got older and he helped them win games, and win tournaments and championships. I was a really good ball handler. That is probably where most of my skills came from. If I could get past the other players' defenders, then it was a possibility to score. Having good ball control could also lead to good passes to other teammates to open them up for a shot on the goal, and possibly another point for our team. I led teams in Argentina, Italy, and Spain to championships. First, I joined a young team that was named Los Cebollitas. On that team, when I was on it we had a 136 unbeaten game streak. Then, before my 16th birthday, I made his professional league debut for the senior team! I mostly rockd the midfield position on the field. While playing in Spain, I became addicted to cocaine. Shortly after, I got suspended for playing soccer for 15 months. When I was under 20 years old, I led a national team to a Junior World Cup championship. After that, I moved to the Boca Juniors in 1981 and immediately helped them gain the championship. Later, I moved to Europe. There, he played with FC Barcelona in 1982, soon after, we won the Spanish cup in 1983. Finally, I moved to the SSC Napoli from 1984 through 1991. There, I had great success. I raised that team to the heights of Italian football. We won the league title in 1987, then again in 1990. I was one of the top players in the 1980’s and one of the greatest of all time.. Overall, I’ve played in four world cup tournaments for my country. I also have the most team captain appearances in world cup tournaments. I was also part of the Argentina youth squad that won the 1979 Youth World Cup in Japan. I won the Golden ball for being the tournament’s most outstanding player. After I retired, I was hospitalized for heart problems in 2000 and 2004, the second time, having to use a respirator to breathe properly. It was a very scary situation. I couldn't believe I was in this situation. bWhen I was sixty years old, I died after a heart attack. I died on November 25, 2020.
