St. Michael School

Dear Parents,

We wrapped up another wonderful week at St. Michael by celebrating the many great schools that make up our community! The annual Trinity/St. X Game Day brought plenty of school spirit, spirit wear, and friendly rivalry today. What fun! I hope to see many of you at the game tonight as we cheer on our teams and enjoy this special tradition together!

Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences will be held on October 6 and 7. Please be sure to look for the conference links in this edition of the Knights News. We will also publish the links again next week for your convenience. We look forward to spending this time with you - celebrating your child’s progress, sharing in their successes, and discussing how we can continue to work together to support them as they learn and grow.

We are also very excited to welcome our parish and school community to 11:00 a.m. Mass this Sunday, September 27, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of St. Michael! Archbishop Fabre will celebrate Mass with us, making this a truly special occasion for our community. This Sunday is also Priesthood Sunday, a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude to Father Peter for his leadership, faith, and loving pastoral care. Father Peter is a wonderful shepherd and we are so blessed by the many ways he cares for our parish and school community. Please be sure to let him know how much we appreciate him!

Among the many exciting things happening next week, we will celebrate the Feast of St. Michael on Tuesday, September 29. We have lots of fun activities planned for our students as we honor our patron saint and celebrate what makes our St. Michael community so special. We are also counting down to our Fun Run next Friday, October 2! Our PTO has been planning this exciting event for the past year, and we are incredibly grateful for the generous donations that have already been made in support of this year’s Fun Run. We look forward to sharing a joyful day with our students while making a lasting impact on our school.

Thank you, as always, to our wonderful parents and guardians. Your partnership, encouragement, and support mean so much to us and make such a difference in the lives of our students. We are grateful to share this journey with you, and we are looking forward to another joy-filled week at St. Michael!

Family members are welcome to join us at the Fun Run as spectators or volunteers. We can always use extra hands, and volunteering puts you right in the midst of all the action! Important Reminders

Students will not be dismissed directly from the Fun Run. All children will return to their classrooms, and normal dismissal procedures should be followed.
Fun Run shirts and accessories will be handed out Friday morning. Please send your child to school in school-appropriate free dress and any colorful accessories they’d like—tutus, headbands, socks, etc.
Students who prefer to avoid color powder should run/walk inside the color tables along the course. Please remind your child of this ahead of time so they know what to expect during the event.
