Dear Families of St. Michael School,
As we celebrate Derby Week here in Louisville, I want to take a moment to recognize the joy and tradition this season brings to our school community. It has been wonderful to see our students and staff embrace Derby traditions in such a special way at St. Michael. The kindergarten float parade, KinderDerby, vibrant artwork, lovely hats, and festive attire throughout the building have brought so much excitement and pride to our school. It’s a joy to see these traditions come to life in such a uniquely St. Michael way. We hope your families enjoy a weekend filled with celebration, connection, and all the spirit that makes this season so special in Louisville.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation during our afternoon dismissal. We know this is a busy time of day, and we appreciate the care you take to help things run smoothly. As you exit campus, we kindly ask that you be mindful of traffic patterns near Taylorsville Road. There may be a backup as cars wait to turn onto Taylorsville Road. When possible, please leave space for vehicles attempting to turn left into Tyler Center from Stone Lakes Drive so they can safely enter the parking lot. Being thoughtful in these small ways helps us remain good neighbors to the businesses in Tyler Center, who are wonderful supporters of our school community. Thank you for helping keep our students and community safe!
Very Respectfully,
Mrs. Conliffe
