Dear Families of St. Michael School,

Please join me in honoring our eighth grade students, who received the Sacrament of Confirmation last evening!  It was a wonderful celebration of faith, and we were honored to welcome Archbishop Fabre, who conferred the sacrament and shared this special occasion with our school community.  A very big thank you to our middle school religion teacher, Mr. Jim Gnadinger, for his hard work to teach and support our students as they prepared for this sacrament.  Thank you also to Father Peter and Mr. Noah McDonell, Director of Faith Formation, for their efforts to support our students on their faith journey.

Please keep these young ladies and gentlemen in your prayers as they continue to grow in their faith and embrace their call to live as disciples of Christ.  May the gifts of the Holy Spirit strengthen and guide them as they share their faith with others.  As St. Leo the Great reminds us:

"Recognize, O Christian, your dignity!"

May our newly confirmed students always remember the beautiful gift of their faith and the responsibility to let Christ's light shine through them.

Very Respectfully,

Mrs. Conliffe
