Dear Families of St. Michael School,
I hope this message finds you warm and safe on this beautiful snow day. As you are aware, the weather conditions required us to close the building today and transition to NTI. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your flexibility and continued support as we navigate these usual winter days. Your partnership makes it possible for learning to continue no matter the circumstances, and we are truly grateful.
This weekend we celebrate Gaudete Sunday, my favorite Sunday of Advent. As we light the rose candle, we embrace the joyful anticipation of our shared Advent journey. Gaudete Sunday reminds us to pause, to rejoice, and to recognize the nearness of Christ as we draw closer to the celebration of His birth. May this weekend fill your homes with hope, joy, and a renewed sense of God's presence.
I would also like to acknowledge our eighth grade students, many of whom will be taking the High School Placement Test tomorrow. They have worked diligently and are well prepared for this important step. As they move forward on the path toward their next chapter, I ask that you keep all of our eighth graders in your prayers. Their hard work, faith, and resilience will serve them well, and we are proud of each one of them.
Very Respectfully,
Mrs. Conliffe
