Good afternoon, St. Michael Families,

What a wonderful week we had celebrating our patron saint, St. Michael! We are grateful for the opportunity to honor his example and ask for St. Michael’s continued protection and intercession over our beloved school community.

We would also like to congratulate three members of our St. Michael family who were recognized by the Archdiocese of Louisville for completing catechetical formation programs this year: Mrs. Emily Horvay (1st grade teacher) and Mr. Jim Gnadinger (8th grade teacher), who completed the Associate Level, and Mr. Noah McDonell (Director of Faith Formation), who completed the Advanced Level. We are very proud of their commitment to growing in faith and deepening their formation, and we are grateful for the many ways they share that growth with our community. Please join us in celebrating their wonderful accomplishments!

Today was originally scheduled to be our Fun Run Day, and while we were disappointed that the weather required us to reschedule, we are incredibly grateful for our amazing PTO, who quickly pivoted to create a fun and memorable day for our students. Our students enjoyed inflatables in the gym and plenty of fun together! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this year’s Fun Run. We have already broken the record for this event! We are very grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm of our St. Michael community and look forward to celebrating together at the Fun Run on October 14.

We look forward to welcoming everyone next week for Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences!  Have a blessed weekend, and thank you for all you do to make St. Michael such a wonderful community!

Very Respectfully,

Mrs. Conliffe
