E-Services Overview
There are currently nineteen online options available on the “Vehicle Services” webpage at MyDMV.Colorado .gov. Service payments may be processed using a credit card or an electronic check (a.k.a. “e-check”), which will require bank’s routing number and checking account number information.

Important Note
Renew a vehicle registration
Allows to renew a Colorado vehicle's registration.
Must have a vehicle registration due renewal but not yet expired beyond the grace [period month; Vehicle must not be due emissions test; Must have no title or registration holds on the vehicle’s record.
License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code; Current Colorado Insurance; A valid credit card or electronic check (if payment is required).
Centralized Bulk Printing Program for counties that opted in.
Submit a first-time vehicle registration
Allows to register a vehicle for use on Colorado roads.
Vehicle titling must be completed, and customer must have received the Title Complete Notice.
Vehicle’s title number and the letter ID found on the Title Complete Notice; Current Colorado Insurance; A valid credit card or electronic check (if payment is required).
Print on Demand License Plate Program.
Customer may use a certificate PIN with this service. License plate(s) with year tab and month tab decals affixed to the license plate and the registration receipt are mailed to customer(s) within three weeks. This service may be utilized for a vehicle with an expired temporary permit. A Law Enforcement action notice is provided as a means of warning the vehicle owner(s) with expired temporary permit, or one nearing its expiration date.
Request a duplicate title
Allows to request a duplicate title.
Must have an active title with no liens.
License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code; Secure and Verifiable Identification; Power of Attorney documentation (if power of attorney is used); A valid credit card or electronic check (if payment is required).
Centralized Bulk Printing Program for counties that opted in.

Request a duplicate registration card
Allows you to request a duplicate registration card.
Must have an active vehicle registration.
License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code

The duplicate registration card is mailed to customer within one to two weeks.
Estimate registration fees
Allows to estimate registration fees: may be used to research registration costs for a newly purchased vehicle

This service is NOT meant for vehicle registration renewal calculations.
Add/change a vehicle address
Allows to update legal and mailing addresses on a vehicle record.
License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code.
Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) participants will not be able to change their legal address online.
Report Release of Liability
Allows to voluntarily report an ownership transfer for a vehicle.
License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code.
The notification should be submitted within five days of transfer of ownership. This notification serves to remove the seller’s liability for the buyer’s actions involving the vehicle after the sale is complete.

Allows to replace the currently registered license plate with a new standard configuration license plate or a new personalized configuration license plate.

License plate number and Last eight characters of Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Verification Code; Current Colorado Insurance; A valid credit card or electronic check (if payment is required).

Become a third-party IRP agent
Allows to create a new third-party IRP agent login in order to access client’s IRP accounts.
