INTERVIEW HIGHLIGHTS
On Relationships
My friendship with my best friends and with my family are great, but I prefer being with my family, because there are people that I live with and I see everyday. Helena and Bia are people that I just see at school, but I really like being with them.
At the beginning I stayed very angry and jealous, because I knew that I was supposed to share the attention of my parents, presents and many other things with him. After some time I realised that having a brother is not that bad, I stayed more friends with him and it was good.
I don’t know why, but normally I make friends very fast just by talking with one person. Me and Helena like similar things, an example is volleyball, normally people make friends with people with similar likes.
On Likes and Dislikes
I really love fellins, like cats, lions, tigers, lynx and many others, because I think they are cute and smart, but I also like other types of animals. I like the profession of being a vet because they take care of animals and I love animals.
Honestly I hate studying and doing homework, but I always try to pay a lot of attention in class and take notes. In my future I want to be a very organised and successful person.
In my free time, I like to watch TV, chat with friends by whatsApp, play volleyball and play card games. I am a busy person so I can just do this on Saturdays or Sundays. I do lots of activities during the week. That's why I don’t have time to finish some school work.
On Dreams
Although I really like my dream jobs, like being a vet, a scientist or a doctor, I do have other dreams. I would like to visit Japan, travel to many other places and eat different foods that I really want to try.
So many engaging things in the 11 years old student girl's answers. It's very interesting that Julia is already thinking about what she will be when she grows up. She is going to work with her likes and not with what people think she needs to be, and that is marvellous. She is also very good in the topic she wants to work with. The Japan dream trip is fascinating and crazy. It's very far from Brazil and it is extremely difficult to get there. On the other hand, it is a wonderful place with very good food.
Julia’s relationship with her family is a fact that really matters in her life. She has the ideal connection with her mom, dad and brother. It wasn’t always like this and the fact that she was mad because of the attention her parents gave her brother is shocking. This was really surprising, because it went from a difficult relationship of the siblings, to a perfect connection inside the whole family. What if Julia’s parents didn’t have another kid?
