"Life In Court."

Dear Y9 student,
I understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your favorite sport, tennis. It's causing you a lot of anxiety and stress. I'm here to offer some advice that I believe can help you to play as you used to play, before vacation. I play tennis as well, so I’ll use my knowledge and sites to help you.
About your physical condition in courts, I suggest you start doing pilates, physiotherapy, and talk to your doctor about it, and say what is happening with your body. I also play tennis, I know how difficult it is to play with pain, discomfort and more. About this, I also recommend you to talk to your coaches, they will certainly help you with exercises.
Anxiety can really mess with your game. You should focus on ways to “fix” it. I advise you to work on their mental health, by talking to a psychologist, if necessary. Anxiety can decrease confidence in your tennis game, so you can try learning how to stay calm and boost your confidence mentally. This is as important as physical training, to get back in the groove.
Tennis is not just about the physical aspect but also the mental aspect, following the advice I gave you, you are taking a giant step forward, I’m sure. Remember, it may take time, but your determination will be worth it. Despite all this is important, here are some extra things that can also help you, not just in Tennis, but in other aspects of your life. Start paying more attention to your diet, they have a big impact on how you play. Also, if you start sleeping more and organising your schedule, you will get better results in tennis and in school as well. Hope this helps you!
Sincerely,
Y7 - Laura Hora
