Dear Teachers, Students and Parents,
Tomorrow we will be celebrating our achievement of winning the National Blue Ribbon School award on the feast day of our patron saint, St. Albert the Great.
The coveted National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of educators, students, and parents that are creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.
To our incredible teachers, thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence in education. Your creativity, support, and tireless efforts inspire students every day to reach their full potential.
To our brilliant students, your dedication to learning, your curiosity, and your resilience have been the driving forces behind this success. You have shown that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
And to our supportive parents, your partnership, encouragement, and involvement have been crucial in creating an environment where students can thrive.
This recognition is a reflection of the exceptional community we’ve built together. It honors not only the achievements of today but also the promise of a bright future. Let’s continue to inspire one another to aim higher, dream bigger, and achieve even greater things.
Congratulations to everyone involved! Let’s take pride in this remarkable accomplishment and look forward to all that we will continue to achieve together.

In November, our Friendzy program will focus on the powerful virtue of Gratitude with the theme, “Stress Less, Breathe Easy.” This month, students will learn how practicing gratitude can positively impact their daily lives and relationships, even during busy or challenging times. Through engaging discussions, activities, and reflections, we will encourage students to appreciate the good around them and develop healthy ways to manage stress. Join us in modeling gratitude and mindfulness at home as we work together to help our students “stress less” and “breathe easy” in their journey toward personal and spiritual growth.
Congratulations to our Vikings who received the October Virtue Award for EMPATHY- click here to view names.

This year, during Discover Catholic Schools Week: Nov. 17-23 we will be administering a Family Engagement survey to parents/guardians and students (grades 3-8). We are committed to continuous school improvement and rely on the feedback of our school community to ensure this commitment leads to the further growth of our program. Next week, you will receive a link to the survey through which you will be asked to provide feedback on our program effectiveness. We thank you in advance for your full participation. *This is in addition to the School Board Climate Survey. The link to the survey will be emailed to families
on Monday, November 18th.
Attention parents! We need your help! It has been more than 5 years since our last survey and a lot has changed, which is why it is so important to get your feedback. Your Administration and School Board want to know what YOU think about both your child's school experience and YOUR satisfaction level of St. Albert the Great School. Please find below a link to the St. Albert School Climate Survey, which you can easily access and finish in about 15 minutes.
Completing this survey will help our Administration and School Board better understand where we excel and where we need improvements in our school. Your participation is important so please take a few minutes to tell us what you think. Please fill out one survey per household.
All your responses are anonymous. If you would like to be entered to win the $100 Visa gift card, please send an email with the subject "I completed the school survey" to schoolboard-chair@stalbert.org. Include your name, which will be entered into the raffle. The winner will be randomly selected after Thanksgiving break. Please submit your responses by November 15. The survey link will close after that date.
If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 86943MF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.

Save the Date for the first annual St. Albert iGiveCatholic campaign on Giving Tuesday! We are hoping to raise $8,000 to install a permanent camera in church, so we can once again broadcast Mass. This new system will allow us to stream more easily and more often.
Offering Livestream will help parishioners, school families and loved ones, near and far, feel spiritually connected to our community when they are unable to be here physically. Weekly Mass, School Mass, Special Liturgies, Sacraments, Funerals & Weddings, Graduation... We hope that you will “Give Back and Give Catholic” and “Let There be Streams of Mass!"
