A Message from Administration
Dear Saint Albert Parents,
We hope you had a restful and enjoyable Fall Break! Thank you to all who attended our Fall Conferences last week. Your involvement and dedication to your child’s education truly strengthens our school community, and we are grateful for your continued support.
As we head into the “Final Four” weeks of this first trimester, we are excited to continue working together to make it a successful conclusion to this first grading period. Let's encourage and remind our students to finish this trimester strong…. with focus, enthusiasm, and faith!
Here are a few important reminders to help your child stay on track:
Uniforms: Please make sure students are following the dress code every day. Students should take pride in wearing their uniform properly as a representative of our school!
Agendas: Be sure your child is using their agenda daily. It’s a great tool to stay organized and keep track of assignments and upcoming tests or quizzes.
Homework: Completing homework on time is key to reinforcing what students have learned in class. Students should make it a habit to check their assignments and give their best effort every day.
Studying: As we approach the end of the trimester, it’s important for students to prepare for tests and quizzes. Be sure that your child is setting aside time to study, review your notes, and encourage them to ask for help if they need it.
This week, we honor Saint Teresa of Ávila, a model of hard work and dedication. Saint Teresa's commitment to her work and her perseverance in the face of challenges are qualities we can all strive to emulate. She reminds us to approach our work—whether it’s our studies, our duties at home, or our service to others—with a strong sense of purpose and faith.
Let’s honor Saint Teresa by encouraging our students to put forth their best effort these next four weeks with focus and determination!
Saint Teresa of Avila, Pray for Us!
Saint Albert the Great, Pray for Us!

Wait Until 8th Pledge
A group of St. Albert parents have signed the Wait Until 8th pledge and you are invited to join if you feel it is the right choice for your family. The Wait Until 8th pledge empowers parents to rally together to delay giving children a smartphone until at least the end of 8th grade. By banding together, this will decrease the pressure felt by kids and parents alike over the kids having a smartphone. There are so many reasons to wait.
Many parents say “yes” to the smartphone early because so many other families have said “yes.” What if we said "not yet” together though? What difference would it make if our kids had a few more years smartphone free?
Please note that this pledge is for smartphones only. If you would like your child to have a basic phone that just calls and texts, you still can sign the pledge!
Go to the link to sign the pledge or learn more of what the pledge is and is not.

2025-2026 Tuition Assistance
Now is the time to apply for tuition assistance for the 2025-2026 school year. The application process consists of completing the FACTS application and submitting supporting documentation.
The tuition assistance application is available at www.ceflou.org. Parents/guardians will need their 2023 federal tax return and 2023 W-2’s; (additional documents may be requested if they have additional income).
The deadline to complete the application and provide all documentation is November 30, 2024 for consideration in the initial round of funding. These families will receive award notifications no later than March 1, 2024. A smaller amount of tuition assistance may be available for forms submitted after November 30th.
The 2024-2025 application fee is $35.
Financial assistance is available for students entering kindergarten through eighth grade, both parishioner and non-parishioner families.
FACTS Management is an independent, third-party service that provides reasonable assessments of the ability of families to pay tuition at private and parochial schools. Copies of the FACTS analysis and forms are shared only with the contracting parish, school or agency; no one else will receive this information.
For specific questions regarding tuition assistance, please contact Lisa Kleyer in the Parish office at lkleyer@stalbert.org.
