This month, our Viking Virtue is Integrity, and it’s the final one we’ll focus on as we approach the end of the school year. With the finish line in sight, it’s the perfect time to encourage students to finish strong by embracing this important virtue. For parents, reinforcing this at home can help your child stay focused and on track. Whether it’s completing assignments thoughtfully, being honest in their work, or supporting their classmates in positive ways, integrity plays a key role in building good character.
It’s easy for excitement and distractions to take over during this time, but it’s also a chance to remind our students about the importance of staying committed to their goals and taking responsibility for their actions. Encourage them to finish the year with integrity—whether in the little things or the bigger moments.
Let’s keep up the great work, remembering that doing the right thing is always worth the effort.

As we enter April, our school community will focus on the virtue of Integrity—choosing to do what is right even when no one is watching. Through our Friendzy theme, "Do the Next Right Thing," students will learn how integrity strengthens their relationships, builds trust, and helps them live out their faith.
Our teachers will weave these lessons into Religion class, using Scripture, discussion, and real-life applications to help students understand how to practice integrity in their daily lives. Additionally, Mrs. Corbett and Ms. Kane will lead a special Friendzy lesson, reinforcing these important values in an engaging and meaningful way.
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home! Below is a prayer you can say with your child throughout the month:
Prayer for Integrity:
"Lord, help us to always choose what is right, even when it is difficult. Give us the courage to be honest, the wisdom to follow Your ways, and the strength to do the next right thing. May our words and actions reflect Your love and truth. Amen."
Proceeds benefit the 8th-grade class activities. Please refer to the Parent/Student Handbook for dress-down day policies.

As we journey through Lent, we invite all of our Saint Albert families to participate in our school-wide service project, CRS Rice Bowl, led by our 7th-grade students. This initiative encourages prayer, fasting, and almsgiving while supporting those in need around the world. Each student has been given a Rice Bowl to take home. Please encourage your child to fill it with donations throughout Lent, and return it to school on Holy Thursday. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and live out the spirit of Lent through generosity and service. Thank you for joining us in this important mission!
Hunger Relief in the United States
Your donation to CRS Rice Bowl helps provide lifesaving support to more than 200 million people in more than 120 countries. But did you know your support also helps your local diocese?
Twenty-five percent of every donation stays in your community to fight hunger and poverty, while 75% supports Catholic Relief Services programming around the world.
Jesus, Bread of Life,
As we encounter you in the Eucharist this Lent,
nourish us with your love,
unite us in communion with our sisters and brothers,
showing us how we are connected.
Transform our hearts, that we may be moved to
share bread for life with our global family
and work for a world where all can thrive.
