past weeks.
As we enter the most sacred time in our Church’s liturgical year, I invite you to pause and reflect on the profound meaning of Holy Week and the Triduum.
Holy Week is a time of deep spiritual significance—a journey that takes us from Palm Sunday through the sorrow of Good Friday, and ultimately to the triumph of Easter. At the heart of this week is the Sacred Triduum—Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil—three holy days that commemorate the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At St. Albert the Great, we are helping our students enter into this holy time with reverence and understanding, guiding them to see beyond the events themselves and into the deep love and sacrifice that Jesus offers to each of us. Through prayer, reflection, and age-appropriate liturgical celebrations, we hope to help them grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Christ.
We encourage you, as the first and most important faith educators of your children, to walk this journey with them at home and in our parish community. Attending Triduum services as a family, taking time to pray together, and talking about the meaning of Christ’s sacrifice can be powerful ways to help your children experience the mystery of our salvation in a personal way.
May this Holy Week bring peace to your hearts, strength to your families, and a renewed sense of hope in the light of the Resurrection

Sept.- Cooperation
Oct.- Empathy
Nov.- Gratitude
Jan.- Perseverance
Feb.- Honesty
Mar.- Respect
Apr.- Integrity
As we enter April, our school community will focus on the virtue of Integrity—choosing to do what is right even when no one is watching. Through our Friendzy theme, "Do the Next Right Thing," students will learn how integrity strengthens their relationships, builds trust, and helps them live out their faith.
Our teachers will weave these lessons into Religion class, using Scripture, discussion, and real-life applications to help students understand how to practice integrity in their daily lives. Additionally, Mrs. Corbett and Ms. Kane will lead a special Friendzy lesson, reinforcing these important values in an engaging and meaningful way.
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home! Below is a prayer you can say with your child throughout the month:
Prayer for Integrity:
"Lord, help us to always choose what is right, even when it is difficult. Give us the courage to be honest, the wisdom to follow Your ways, and the strength to do the next right thing. May our words and actions reflect Your love and truth. Amen."

This allows our community to fully enter into a time of prayer, reflection, and participation in the liturgies that lead us through the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ.
