This workshop will be led by two Apple Learning Leaders from Ngee Ann Secondary School with the intention of creating personalisation of learning within a classroom of diverse learning needs and also scalability across levels of readiness in learning.

Participants will experience how the use of the Apple ecosystem can support teaching and learning through creating workflows and templates which were used for designing a personalised learning process, even scaffolding across different streams, re-imagining learning spaces and sparking joy of learning in students.

Mr Samuel Tay

Teacher, NGEE ANN SECONDARY SCHOOL

Samuel has been in the software industry as a systems analyst for 3 years before switching to the teaching profession for 7 years. Upon knowing Ngee Ann Secondary School as a Future School, he joined the school in 2017 and has since implemented coding initiatives such as Microbit training, Swift coding workshops and he teaches O Level Computing. Recently he was recognised as Apple Learning Leader who is taking an active role to inspire others to use technology effectively in the classroom.

Ms Kimberly Ng

Teacher, NGEE ANN SECONDARY SCHOOL

Kimberly joined the teaching profession in 2014, specialising in the teaching of Mathematics and English Language at the Secondary level. She joined Ngee Ann Secondary School’s ICT Think Tank since its inception in 2016, which campaigns effective use of ICT and iPads in lessons and helping teachers transition between different platforms.
