Technology in teaching and learning has a role on its own. The use of gadgets like iPad for instance, has sparked interest in learners to learn better. Likewise for Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah, the 1:1 iPad program has done wonders to both learners and educators. The use of digital textbooks has enabled them to experience digital learning beyond classroom. In this hands on breakout, we will work with educators to have each person create a simple digital book with photos, videos, audio recordings and other features using just Keynote and Pages.

Ms Shahida Shaikh Salim
Shahida Shaikh Salim is a Primary School Teacher. She completeted her bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Ustazah Shahida spent 5 years in service and is currently teaching Arabic in Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah. She presented on how Educational Technology can be used as a tool for teacher’s reflection at the Madrasah Skilful Teacher Symposium.
