Presentation Strands: Bridge real-world learning with technology-enabled curriculum
To equip students with 21st century competencies and skills, Music teachers from Holy Innocents’ High School redesigned their Lower Secondary Music lessons to incorporate the use of the iPad and GarageBand in music lessons.
Through the programme, students are introduced to the various functions of GarageBand on the iPad and how they can create music arrangements of different genres through the use of music loops in through the app. Students also get to arrange music to create a cover version of songs and learn how to create thematic music and jingles.
