Thanksgiving Service

The Thanksgiving Service took place in the evening on 21 April, marking the culmination of a series of activities celebrating this momentous milestone.

The event started with the solemn hymn, All people that on Earth Dwell, which set the stage for an evening of reverence and reflection. The hymn was followed by the entrance of Choir members of the Primary School Choir, Chapel Choir, and Alumni Choir into the cathedral.

The service was divided into several themed stages, namely Faith at the Beginning, Perseverance during Difficult Times, St. Paul’s Spirit, and Being a Servant Leader, with each stage being illustrated by related prayers and readings.

The anthems, The Lord Bless You and Keep You and How Great Thou Art, were impressively performed by the Chamber Choir and the Alumni Choir respectively, leaving the audience at once captivated and deeply moved.

The service concluded with a heartfelt and improvised rendition of the hymn, Here I am Lord, which showcased the remarkable singing talents of our alumni and students, and symbolized the unbreakable bond of unity among all members, regardless of age or background, a sense of community and pride which will continue forever.
