Many of the homes shown here have been built on sites of older smaller homes that were built back in the sixties, seventies and eighties. Land is becoming more scarce and expensive in Florida, so new construction is bigger and luxurious to bring the property up to a higher value. I have observed a trend of houses designed for smaller lots becoming more box-like to fill up as much area on the sites as possible. See if you can pick them out below.
