US to add 1 GW Solar 2010 equal 1 Nuclear plant

A report issued by the Solar Energy Industries Association and GTM Research earlier on Tuesday estimated the United States could add as much as 1.13 gigawatts of solar installations this year, up more than 150 percent from a year ago. One gigawatt is equivalent to about the capacity of a nuclear reactor.
