1. Choose one of the environmental questions below, and prepare a decision-making table using appropriate researched and cited information from the websites provided (and any other sources you choose). It should look similar to Table 4 (p.50) in section 2.3 in your book. Along the top of the table, you can use any three values you like from the list of 9 environmental values discussed in class (as in, they don’t necessarily have to be environmental, economic, and recreational, like in table 4, if those don’t fit with your ideas).

2. After you make your table, take a moment to clarify your thoughts. When you're ready, prepare a statement that describes your model, states your stance on the issue (citing relevant information), and the rationale for your choice.
ENVIRONMENTAL QUESTION OPTIONS:
a. Should NJ increase its rates to get onto the beach in order to pay for better ecosystem/dune maintenance?
b. Cigarette butts pollute our streets, walkways, and landscape. Should there be a ban put on public smoking?
c. Should a ban be put on plastic shopping bags across the country, forcing customers to provide their own bags?
d. It takes money to maintain a state/national park. Lately the state of NJ is in debt. Should several Parks and Conservation Areas in NJ be closed (and/or open to developers) in an effort to conserve money?
e. In several states, there's a new policy that requires residents to pay per bag of trash they throw away. The goal is to try and get people to produce less garbage. Should this policy be adopted in NJ?
