Dissection pre-lab (20pts):
1. fetal pig prelab questions (complete questions and labeling) (10pts)
2. fetal pig prelab labeling and coloring (complete labeling and coloring) (10pts)
3. virtual pig dissection - using the website Pig Dissection at Whitman College, click through and become familiar with the looks of various things you will encounter during dissection. On the back of the anatomy/physiology review packet make a few notes of the major features/things to be aware of in the following areas: sex determination, digestive system, urogenital (excretory/reproductive), circulatory system, respiratory system, brain.

Dissection and exam (100pts):
We will start with a class discussion of dissection safety, tools, materials, and clean-up procedures.
You will have 3 class periods to dissect as per the instructions in packet 2. You will fill in packet 2 and submit for credit. (dissection + packet = 46pts)
At the conclusion of the dissection you will be given a written exam (done in your groups) composed of labeling and questions (54pts)
