Spiritual Matters is not something to take lightly. To often we forget about our spiritual sense and get caught up into what we want and desire during the days of our lives here on Earth. We forget that this life is as temporary as our bodies and our spirit lives forever. Loosing or not having an eternal perspective creates anxiety, pain and suffering that can be prevented if given the right priority in our lives. As a society we depend on the next5 generation learning the lessons of the previous generation. Ever since the beginning of time there has been people that have generations loose this perspective and cause great tragedy to their existence. Why do we loose this perspective? It is programmed into our nature. We are often told that we need to look out for ourselves first; this is the greatest lie that has caused the demise of just about every society in history.
How can we prevent our own demise? Teach the next generation about our experiences, our achievements, our mistakes. Pass on the wisdom that self-centeredness is a dead end street leading to eternal pain and suffering. Teach the ways of many wise people from the past, that loving and serving God and others is the most important ingredient to a long and fulfilled life here on Earth. If you loose eternal perspective and start believing in temporary and changing things, disappointment is inevitable. Disappointment breads depression. Depression breads Death.
When should we prevent these terrible things to happen? Before they start! If you look at ones life from Birth to death, there is many experiences that create them to who they become, what they accomplish, where they exist, and how they are remembered. To many lives today go way to long before they understand their purpose in life and as a result some are cut short due to bad decisions. If we can transfer the true value and meaning of our lives when a person is a child then they are much more likely to lead a productive and fulfilled life and be more equipped to pass this knowledge on to the next generation. At the end of the day, isn’t that what is really important anyway?
