FRANK CROSSLEY BROOME was born in London on the 7 March 1892 and died on the 16 April 1948, aged 56. He served in the Air Force during the First World War- Captain 200712 UK-Africa and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Force Cross for his service.

After the war Frank married 1/ NANCY I. LERMITTE in 1920.

Nancy was born circa 1898 and died on the 4 April 1963.

Frank and Nancy were divorced and Frank later married 2/ Agnes K. ? some time after 1920.

All three of his victories were claimed while flying Camel D6102. And all three appear in the RAF Communiques, on the day after the correct date, because they occurred after the normal 1600 hours cut-off for reporting.
