He was buried at the West Terrace cemetery, South Australia

HENRY married ALICE LAIDLER on the 29 February 1836 Tynemouth, Northumberland, England

ALICE b 1811 Blaydon, Durham, England

Henry left England for Australia in 1848 with his brother Joseph Armstrong Angus aboard the 'Navarino' bound for South Australia.

The brothers had planned after much persuasion by their mother, to make their fortune and establish homes in the newly settled colony of Australia before sending for Henry's wife and children to join them.

The brothers and Joseph's family arrived in South Australia on the 10 November 1848.

Sadly Henry became ill and upon arrival was admitted to the the Adelaide Hospital suffering from tuberculosis. He succumbed to the disease on the 15 November 1848, aged 34.

His family remained in England following his death.

Alice was listed in the 1861 & 1881 census as a laundress/ washerwoman
