When my Director asked me if he can submit and enroll me as content manager ang bilis ng sagot ko “yes sir” but actually I’m frightened and scared.
Being frightened doesn’t mean you can’t be brave. In fact, doing things even when you feel scared — that allows you to really be courageous.
The first step to being brave is believing in yourself. When you realize only you can hold yourself back, fear becomes irrelevant and thoughts change from "what if" to "why not." For anyone trying to be brave, stop saying "can't" and start saying "I can." Yes I can.
By the way classmates my name is Rovina R. Pinera, I finished my BS in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine at Central Luzon State University in 1988.I joined PCC in 1992. The work environment at PCC at CSU is challenging, exciting and multitasking. We have two offices; one at PCC Piat Campus, Cagayan where the native carabao genepool and dairy farm are housed and our second office is at Namabbalan Norte, Tuguegarao City where the administrative unit is located. Every Monday and Thursday I am at Tug.City to sign vouchers because of my designation as Accountant. Most of the time I am at Piat to fulfill my duties as Center Vet. and GIP Coordinator and attend to volunteers and OJT's accepted by our Center.
Some of my designation are as follows:
Center Veterinarian
Genetic Improvement Program Coordinator- spearhead the performance data gathering, recording and reporting for the animals in the institutional herd, assuring data integrity and conformance to the Genetic Improvement Program guidelines set by the PCC-National Headquarters
Document Control Officer and Auditor (ISO 9001:2008)
Relief Officer-(facilitate dropping of dead,sold,slaughtered,transferred animals)
Accountant-designate
My hobbies are:
cleaning and decorating the house
gardening-planting fruit bearing trees, vegetables and ornamental plants
reading books
listening to classic music and preaching of well known man of God
I don’t watch telenovelas but I love documentaries and news.
I'm knowledgeable in MS Word and Excel and familiar with the internet.
THOUGHTS TO PONDER:
You cannot always control circumstances, but you can control your own thoughts. The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our thoughts and attitude. That’s the day we truly grow up.
