The Philippine Carabao Center at UPLB is located at Mariano M. Mondonedo Ave., former BM Gonzales, Animal Science Complex, University of the Philippines Los Baños, College, Laguna, 4031. It is one of the Regional Centers of PCC, an attached agency of the Department of Agriculture mandated to conserve, propagate and promote the carabaos as a source of draft animal power, meat, milk, and hide to benefit the rural farmers. PCC at UPLB implements CDP in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and BICOL Region. The GIP Division leads in the production and selection of good quality breeding animals; semen production, distribution and monitoring; management of an Institute-based Dairy Enterprises Model and production of crossbreds for dairy production. The CBED Division leads in the implementation of the CDP in Regions IV-A, IV-B and V; implementation and monitoring of ES/AI, bull loan and dairy buffalo modules; establishing and monitoring of dairy impact zones in each province. While, the R4D leads in the development and packaging of technologies on carabao breeding and reproduction, nutrition and health management, and meat and milk product development; capacitation and mentoring of dairy processors on milk handling, milk quality evaluation, processing, packaging, storage, and recording.

2. Look for buses going to “STA. CRUZ” and tell the conductor you will go to “College”.
Cubao to College, Los Baños, Laguna via EDSA and Southern Luzon Expressway. This trip will take 2 to 3 hours depending on the traffic situation
3. You will be dropped off at Caltex Gasoline Station opposite Olivarez Plaza.
From here you will take the Jeepney going to “UP College – KALIWA”.
This route turns left after the UPLB Gate.
4. Tell the Jeepney driver to drop you off at “Animal Science”.
5. PCC at UPLB is located almost 100 meters from the drop off point passing through the Arc of the Animal Science Complex.
